You may be entitled to financial support if you are diagnosed with an illness covered by the critical illness insurance. The insurance is managed by Forenede Gruppeliv, and you can apply for payment on their website.

The pension scheme typically includes a critical illness insurance which can provide financial support if you are diagnosed with a serious illness. 

Lump sum payment if your diagnosis is covered

The insurance covers a number of diagnoses such as malignant cancer, heart attack and stroke. If you are diagnosed with one of these conditions, you may receive a tax-free lump sum payment. You can see the exact amount in Min pension

The insurance ceases when you retire and at age 68 at the latest.
