Why do my group insurance premiums not appear under my tax deductions?

Payments from the group insurances are tax-free, thus the premium is taxable.

You can see your group insurances on your pension statement on Min Pension under the menu ”Dine dokumenter”. Click on your name at the top right.

Below, you can read about where on the annual tax return you can find the reported group insurance premiums.

Pension schemes under P+ Life cycle

The reported group insurance premium appear from 2 boxes on your annual tax return.

Under the headline 'Sundhedsforsikring' you can see the premium for the insurance in the event of certain criticall illnesses (Forsikring ved visse kritiske sygdomme). In 2023 the insurance premium accounted for DKK 75 monthly, i.e. DKK 900 for the entire year.

Under the headline 'Gruppeliv' you can see the premium for your accident insurance (Ulykkesforsikring) as well as the premium for the lump sum death benefit (Sum ved død). In 2023 the accident insurance premium accounted for DKK 31.25 monthly, i.e. DKK 375 for the entire year. The lump sum death benefit premium is individual.

The premium is only reported for the months that you have paid pension contributions.
