Supplementary retirement pension is an option for previous JØP members who have a pension scheme in average rate and who want an additional savings scheme besides the retirement pension. The supplementary retirement pension guarantees you a monthly payment throughout your life, no matter how old you live to be - like the retirement pension. The deposit interest rate on the supplementary retirement pension equals the deposit interest rate on the ordinary retirement pension.

The supplementary retirement pension does not include insurance covers. This means that you cannot opt for e.g. a spouse's/cohabitant's pension, and the savings are not paid to your surviving relatives after your death.
