It is a condition for payment that the illness is diagnosed in the insurance period. If you contract one of the critical illnesses included in the insurance before you reach age 60, you will receive a payment of DKK 150,000. Between age 60-68 the amount is DKK 133,000. The payment is tax-exempt.

The below-mentioned illnesses are examples of certain critical illnesses:

• Malignant types of cancer
• Thrombosis in the heart
• Bypass surgery
• Stroke
