Change of pension scheme beneficiary(ies)

If you want to appoint or change a beneficiary, you must complete a beneficiary declaration which you can find below.

When payment is made directly to a beneficiary, the payment is protected against creditors. If you choose to remove a beneficiary, payment is made to the estate.

This means that the protection against creditors no longer applies, and possible creditors may have a share of the payment if the creditors’ claims cannot be covered be the estate’s remaining assets. When payment is made to the estate, you can draw up a will and hereby decide who should have the payment.

You can send the declaration through secure mail here
